New Manuals on AirCorps Library for May 13th
This week, we are dropping 40 new manuals covering magnetos, photography equipment, and tachometers.
Most of the magneto manuals cover Bendix-Scintilla components, but T.O. No. 03-5DA-4 includes multiple manufacturers.
Our new tachometer manuals cover a wider range of manufacturers, including Eclipse-Pioneer, General Electric, Kollsman and others.
Lastly, the 10 photo equipment manuals include several manufacturers new to AirCorps Library - Watts Manufacturing and Advertising Displays. Photo equipment may not be the most critical component of warbird restoration, but with film photography making a comeback they are some of the more interesting manuals uploaded this week. Several weeks ago, we received a call from a customer searching for a manual for a propeller governor test stand.
We were able to identify the T.O. number for the document the subscriber needed, but we didn’t have a digital or a physical copy. About a week later, as we were scanning a box of donated manuals that just arrived at the office, there was T.O. 33D2-11-3-11 staring right at us. We were able to upload the manual, and a supplement to that manual, and let the customer know by the end of the day.
This doesn’t always happen, but it's pretty nice when it does. It's also a good reminder that if you can’t locate a manual or a drawing on AirCorps Library, shoot us a call or an email.
