New Manuals on AirCorps Library for July 15
We are feeding you a feast of new manuals to stuff you with new knowledge before you head off to AirVenture 2026 next week. This week, we uploaded 54 manuals and documents, including more than a dozen engine manuals that are appearing in brand new units on AirCorps Library.
If you head over to the Engines Unit, you will find two new manufacturer-level units: Aeronca and de Havilland. The Aeronca unit includes a 1937 manual for their E-series engines. The de Havilland Unit has three manuals for Gipsy engines ranging from 120hp to 200hp.
Digging a little deeper, you will find a new General Unit under Kinner Engines and a new unit for Whirlwind engines under the Curtiss-Wright unit. The Whirlwind Unit has documents dating back to the 1920s. It also includes several Stromberg-specific carburetor documents for the Whirlwind engines. Scroll down to check them out.
If you scroll past the engines, you will find 19 new service bulletins for the Grumman J4F Widgeon. It’s always great when we can add more of these types of documents for a specific airframe.
To round out this week’s new offerings, we have 22 new documents for hydraulic components (mostly hydraulic pumps). These documents all cover Vickers-manufactured components.
On a sadder note, this is my last dispatch for the AirCorps Library blog. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and help you source information for your aircraft or other projects. Thanks for reading each week, and thanks for your hard work keeping the story of these incredible warbirds alive.
Remember, you can get exclusive historic warbird manuals delivered straight to your email inbox each week. Sign up now for the AirCorps Library weekly newsletter by clicking this link.
