Fabrication Practices and Training Manuals
This week, the newly added manuals to AirCorps Library cover a wide variety of topics, and most were published by the Bureau of Aeronautics, or Middleton Air Depot, out of Middleton Pennsylvania. Many entities published their own training materials during WWII, but they tend to vary slightly from group to group. Because of this, it's always neat to see new training documents posted, and compare them to the ones we already have on the site. In the list below, you'll see Middleton Air Depot and the Bureau of Aeronautics listed in parenthesis after each applicable manual. I particularly appreciate the cover art on the Middleton manuals with the guy holding a B-17 Flying Fortress over his head!
