Big news - New Set of Over 5,000 A-24 Banshee/SBD Dauntless Engineering Drawings to AirCorps Library!
Several months ago, Pioneer Aero out of New Zealand contacted me about digitizing a set of SBD drawings because they will be completing the restoration of the Dauntless fuselage currently owned by the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA. After I finished digitizing and renaming the drawings, Pioneer was generous enough to also allow me to make the set available to all AirCorps Library members - another great example of the team attitude that lifts up the entire warbird industry. Without this type of generosity the website would not be what it is today! Eclipse Accessory Manuals:
Most of the manuals added this week, and in the following sections, are actually part of the same manual. The manual is T.O. No. 03-1-6 and is titled "Handbook of Service and Overhaul Instructions for Aircraft Accessory Equipment" and covers a huge variety of accessories that were manufactured by Eclipse during WWII. The manual is broken down into chapters and parts. Each chapter focuses on a specific accessory, and the parts within each chapter can pertain to different models of that component or different revisions. You'll notice that in the lists below the chapter and part are indicated for each topic, but that the TO document number stays the same.
For obvious reasons I decided that scanning and uploading each chapter and part separately was going to be the easiest way to make the manual searchable. Having all this information in a single manual would make things pretty difficult to locate!.
