Actuator and Motor Manuals

As I mentioned in yesterdays post, we recently received a large collection of donated manuals from the Fort Worth Aviation Museum. This collection consists almost entirely of component manuals, and all the ones in the list below came from this collection. Because there are so many manuals, we will be upping the number that are made live each week, which will require me to do a daily blog post (rather than weekly) to keep up! It's my guess that there are over 5,000 manuals in this collection - crazy

Aircraft Actuator Manuals:

There are a seemingly infinite number of actuators that were manufactured during WWII and beyond. On today's date we currently have a total of 173 actuator manuals available, and no doubt there will be many more to come. The following 6 were added just today. Click here to browse them all!

Aircraft Starter & Motor Manuals:

Similar to actuators, there were a huge number of different starters and motors manufactured by a variety of different companies during WWII. You'll notice the manufacturer in parenthesis after the title of the manual. When we are working on restorations or component overhaul our mechanics often want to search for documents by manufacturer, so adding this bit of information for them (and you!) makes things much easier to find! Curious about the 100+ starter/motor manuals we have available? Click here to browse the full collection.
